Chinese photovoltaic enterprises performed outstandingly at the 2025 Intersolar Europe exhibition

May 19, 2025

Large Participation Scale

The exhibition attracted more than 2,700 enterprises from over 50 countries and regions, among which approximately 850 were from China. Chinese exhibitors concentrated in the core exhibition area, accounting for more than one-third of the total exhibition space.

Abundant and Advanced Exhibits

Exhibits from Chinese companies covered high-efficiency modules, energy storage equipment, charging facilities, and full-chain energy solutions, fully demonstrating the innovative capabilities of the entire industry chain from manufacturing to application.

Outstanding Technological Achievements

LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. drew extensive attention with two breakthrough technological achievements. Its newly released BC second-generation module Hi-MO X10 broke through light constraints through structural innovation, maintaining high power generation efficiency in low-light environments while upgrading fireproof performance. It was awarded the "Innovative Solar Technology" prize by the organizer. LONGi Hydrogen's 3000Nm³/h ALK G series electrolyzer won the "Global Outstanding Project" award for its advantages in large-scale hydrogen production efficiency, making LONGi the only Chinese clean energy enterprise to win dual awards at this exhibition.

Brilliant Performance in Energy Storage

Many Chinese companies, including CATL, Huawei, and Trina Solar, collectively showcased their latest energy storage technologies and solutions. For example, CATL globally launched a container-like energy storage device about two people tall during the exhibition. It supports modular disassembly, assembly, and stacking. A single unit can charge approximately 150 electric vehicles or meet the electricity needs of a German household for about six years.

Extensive and In-Depth Cooperation

Some international exhibitors actively displayed cooperation logos with Chinese enterprises, reflecting deep collaboration in technological R&D and supply chains. Through technology export and localized cooperation, Chinese companies have deeply participated in the adjustment of Europe’s energy structure. Meanwhile, the open attitude and high acceptance of the European market toward new technologies are inspiring Chinese enterprises to increase R&D investments. The cooperation potential between China and Europe in photovoltaic technology collaboration and industrial chain coordination will be further unleashed.

In addition, against the backdrop of high energy prices in Europe, some Chinese companies are actively exploring the household application of photovoltaic technology. For example, TCL displayed a model house equipped with a whole-house green energy system. The system uses solar panels installed on the roof and balcony to provide power and, combined with indoor inverters and energy storage equipment, achieves intelligent power distribution among terminals such as heat pumps and electric vehicle charging piles. This system has been implemented in residential projects in multiple European countries, and its green lifestyle concept is gaining popularity among more and more household users.
